Qualifications
Seniority (MUST HAVE)
1+ years of experience as a software engineer at a top-tier company or quant firm, with a strong backend focus and clear signals of technical excellence
Work experience (MUST HAVE)
1+ years of professional SWE experience shipping production-grade code with a track record of end-to-end ownership and clear strength in backend development
Track record of technical excellence (top-tier company or quant firm, strong school/competitions like IMO/IOI/ICPC, or published/applied AI work).
Education (MUST HAVE)
CS or technical degree from top program
Competitions like IMO, IOI, ICPC or published research
Hard skills
- Strong backend engineering with Python; experience designing and shipping production APIs and databases
- Experience integrating AI/ML into production systems (LLMs, LangChain, RAG, function calling, multimodal AI)
- Familiarity with frontend (React) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, scalable systems)
Soft Skills
- Intensity and velocity mindset: bias for action, end-to-end responsibility, comfort in 9-9-6 startup culture
- Strong communicator, able to work directly with customers and translate technical concepts into outcomes (MUST HAVE)
