Title: Database Administrator – SaaS Platform (AWS Aurora & Redshift)

Employment Type: Direct-Hire, FTE

Location: Fully Remote (CST Hours)

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a DBA or in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift.
  • Strong in Database security and compliance.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudWatch, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL and using performance analysis tools.

Our client, the industry leader in automated parking systems is looking for a Database Administrator. Their SaaS platform delivers innovative solutions to thousands of customers, powered by a robust PostgreSQL-based infrastructure on AWS. The Database Administrator will join their collaborative architecture team, focusing on maintaining high availability, performance, and security across our database ecosystem while contributing to team excellence. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure on AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency. This role will collaborate with senior DBAs to design and implement scalable database architectures. The ability to work cross-functionally while being a self-starter is an important part of this role. They will work closely with software engineers and Cloud Ops to support application development and deployment while also provide guidance on PostgreSQL best practices and data modeling.
