You will lead the shift from reactive operations to proactive engineering, setting the bar for stability, security, and developer experience across the company.

This is a senior individual contributor role with broad influence, designed for an engineer who drives impact through architecture, standards, mentorship, and product-oriented technical leadership rather than people management.

    ๐ŸŒŸYour mission at Jus Mundi

    In This Role, You Will

    • Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy across multiple teams and domains, with a strong focus on product outcomes and user impact.
    • Design and evolve fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems, applying proven software engineering patterns such as API versioning, asynchronous messaging, caching strategies, or database sharding.
    • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to balance technical trade-offs with business value and delivery timelines.
    • Define and enforce engineering standards related to reliability, security, testing, and deployment.
    • Lead the transition toward fully automated, self-healing, and immutable infrastructure.
    • Act as a technical driver for platform-wide initiatives that improve system reliability, performance, developer productivity, and end-user experience.
    • Mentor engineers and act as a trusted technical advisor across the organization.

You will be empowered to modernize our platform foundations, reduce operational risk, and directly impact business outcomes by enabling teams to ship faster with confidence.

    • Strong product mindset, with the ability to understand business context, user needs, and how technical decisions impact product success.
    • Demonstrated ability to make and communicate clear technical trade-offs in service of business value, user experience, and long-term platform health.
