Payroll & Benefits Manager – Up to $150k + 20% bonus – Fully Remote
We’re partnered with a rapidly growing, privately backed organization undergoing significant operational and systems evolution. The business is expanding its workforce across multiple regions and is investing in its people operations to support scalability, compliance, and long-term efficiency. This role sits within a lean, high-impact environment where ownership and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing within Workday
- Bi-weekly payroll processing for North America (US & Canada)
- Monthly payroll processing for the UK
- Manage complex multi-state US payroll, including earnings, deductions, audits, and reporting
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
- Manage benefits administration
- Ensure accurate benefit enrollment for new hires
- Oversee monthly payments to 8–10 global benefit providers
- Manage relationships with benefit brokers and vendors
- Lead annual Open Enrollment processes
- Support benefit plan design changes and ongoing administration
- Own and continuously improve payroll and benefits processes in Workday
- Partner closely with HR and Finance on data accuracy, reconciliations, and reporting
- Support internal and external audits
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of Payroll experience
- 3+ years of Workday experience
- 3+ years of Benefits administration experience
- Hands-on US and Canadian payroll experience (UK experience is highly desirable)
- Strong multi-state US payroll expertise
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience operating in fast-paced, growing, or lean organisations
