Position Overview

Sunhill Business School is seeking a motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about data-driven decision-making and eager to apply statistical, analytical, and machine learning techniques to real-world business and educational challenges.


Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.

- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support data-informed strategies.

- Collaborate with internal teams to identify business needs and design data-based solutions.

- Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

- Support senior data scientists and academic departments in research and data projects.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional data policies.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or data science projects.

- Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools.

- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and model evaluation.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, academic environment.
