Senior Director, Consumer Product Design

As Sr. Director, Design, Consumer, you will lead and shape high-impact digital product experiences across trading, investment, payments, and staking platforms. You will define the design vision, set strategic direction, and drive hands-on execution to deliver intuitive, trustworthy, and engaging user experiences. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will build scalable design systems, improve workflow efficiency, and cultivate a culture of excellence within your design team. Accountabilities

• Lead and scale a team of 10+ designers, providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and coaching.
• Define and communicate long-term UX strategy for consumer products, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
• Drive the design of experiences for trading, payments, staking, and investment platforms, balancing simplicity with trust and rigor.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with product strategy.
• Implement and maintain scalable design processes, including discovery, iteration, critique, and delivery workflows.
• Promote rapid prototyping, user testing, and data-driven design decisions to accelerate learning and innovation.
• Elevate design culture by embedding standards of accountability, critique, and operational rigor across the team.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing and scaling product design teams of 8–15+ in high-growth, product-led environments.
• Hands-on expertise in UX and product design, with strong proficiency in tools like Figma.
• Deep domain experience in crypto, trading, fintech, or wealth management products.
• Strong product intuition, strategic thinking, and ability to partner with PMs and executives as a peer.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Track record of implementing operational processes and design systems that improve team efficiency and output.
• High judgment and decision-making ability, balancing quality, scope, and trade-offs effectively.
• Passion for mission-driven work, particularly in financial inclusion and digital asset experiences.
