Senior Product Manager - Domestic Payments and Debit Experiences

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and develop our domestic payments infrastructure and customer facing debit payment experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for building reliable, scalable and user friendly payment solutions that power everyday transactions for our customers.

This position is based in Manila. We provide relocation support, housing assistance, and everything needed to make your move smooth and comfortable.

Your future tasks

Domestic Payments & Debit Experiences

• Own domestic payment rails for account based transfers, instant payments and QR payments
• Build and evolve P2P and P2B debit transfers, including scheduled and recurring payments
• Own beneficiaries, transfer templates and payment history experiences

Payment Performance & Reliability

• Take ownership of transaction success rates, latency and cost efficiency
• Reduce operational overhead through automation and standardization
• Improve observability, monitoring and failure recovery in close partnership with Engineering, Operations and Analytics

Payments Infrastructure & Platform

• Lead infrastructure driven payment initiatives and orchestration layers
• Migrate legacy or partner dependent payment flows to Salmon Bank’s in house infrastructure
• Standardize APIs and components for reuse across debit products

UX and Product Quality

• Own end to end UX and UI for domestic debit payments and transfers
• Deliver unified and intuitive payment flows across the mobile app
• Improve transaction statuses, error handling and customer communication
• Drive continuous UX improvements through testing and experimentation

Cross Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance and Operations
• Drive alignment and delivery of scalable, reliable and compliant domestic payment solutions

What we expect from candidate

Domain Expertise

• Experience in payments, remittances or fintech products. Crypto experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of domestic and cross border money movement, liquidity and FX dynamics

Product Execution

• 3 to 5 plus years of experience in Product Management or a similar role in fintech
• Proven track record of launching and scaling customer facing financial products
• Ability to work with complex technical and regulatory requirements

Regulatory Exposure

• Familiarity with KYC, AML, licensing and compliance frameworks in banking or fintech

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Comfortable working with APIs, integrations and backend payment flows
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive prioritization and decisions
• Experience building business cases, evaluating trade offs and managing risks

Communication & Leadership

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong cross functional collaboration, stakeholder management and influencing skills
