Job Description


Title: AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

Salary: £60,000-£75,000


F5 are delighted to be working with a global leader in SpaceTech, who are looking to expand their IT Infrastructure team.


After successfully placing this role over a year ago, they are looking for an additional headcount as their operations have scaled even further.


You will be responsible for the configuration, management, and maintenance of their IT Infrastructure and growing AWS estate.


The ideal candidate should be an experienced Linux Administrator with some knowledge of Windows Server Administration, domain joining Linux/Windows machines, LDAP/Active Directory functions, and automation experience with Ansible/Terraform.


Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience within Linux and Windows, including building, deploying, software management, and reporting.
  • Configuration management and automation of Linux and Windows (scripting, group policy, etc.).
  • AWS practitioner-level experience with supporting AWS in a live environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders/senior management
  • Exposure to Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Version Control/Git experience
  • Understanding of IT frameworks and best practices (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
