Role : Senior Cyber Security Manager

Location: 100% remote. Candidates must live in CST or EST Time Zone

Client : US Renal Care

Client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Cyber Security Manager to join our large healthcare client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our entire technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive vulnerability management strategy that aligns with organizational security objectives
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Prioritize and manage vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring critical vulnerabilities are addressed promptly
  • Create and maintain detailed vulnerability tracking and reporting mechanisms
  • Collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security best practices into existing workflows
  • Design and execute risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential security threats
  • Maintain compliance with industry security standards and regulations
  • Manage and coordinate with external security vendors and consultants
  • Provide regular security briefings to senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • Advanced certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM
  • 7-10 years of experience in vulnerability management and cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of implementing comprehensive security assessment programs
  • Strong understanding of network and application security principles
  • Expertise in vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of current cyber threat landscapes and emerging security technologies
