Job Description
A high-growth UK consumer platform in the online competitions / e‑commerce space is looking for a Mid-Senior Angular Developer to help scale a high-traffic product used by thousands of daily users. This is a fully remote role for UK-based engineers with strong modern Angular experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining scalable front-end applications using widely adopted Angular versions (around 18–20), TypeScript and RxJS.
- Implementing responsive, accessible user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and modern component patterns.
- Integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex state (e.g. NgRx, Signals) in a high-traffic environment.
- Owning code quality through reviews, automated testing (Cypress/Jest) and CI/CD-driven delivery.
Must-Have Experience
- Strong commercial experience with modern Angular (roughly 18–20), TypeScript and RxJS.
- 4–8 years’ front-end engineering experience, including at least 2 years building production Angular applications.
- Solid background with REST APIs, Git, Agile/Scrum and responsive UI development.
Nice-to-Have
- NgRx, Signals, Nx monorepo and component-driven architecture.
- Experience with high-traffic, e‑commerce, gaming or online competitions platforms.
- Exposure to Cypress/Playwright, Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines.
