System Administrator / IT Help Desk (Remote – U.S. Healthcare Clients)
Location: Remote (LATAM)
Working Hours: EST time zone
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote
Compensation: USD $8–$10/hour (depending on experience)
We are looking for a System Administrator / IT Help Desk professional to support IT operations for U.S.-based healthcare clients. This role is fully remote and requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication in English, and experience supporting Windows-based environments, networks, and end users.
The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a client-facing support role within regulated environments.
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 IT support to U.S. healthcare clients
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 workstations and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, firewalls, VPNs, and domain controllers
- Administer cloud backup systems and ensure data integrity and availability
- Set up and support printers, scanners, and office hardware
- Provide remote support using ticketing and remote access tools
- Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures following IT best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system reliability and uptime
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 – spoken and written) – mandatory
- Proven experience in IT Help Desk, System Administration, or Technical Support
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience providing remote technical support to external clients
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Experience supporting healthcare clients or regulated environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, backups, security tools)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ConnectWise, Jira, OTRS, etc.)
- Basic security knowledge (MFA, endpoint protection, backups)
