About the Opportunity:
The organization is a rapidly growing AI Risk Decisioning platform that enables banks, fintechs, credit unions, and e-commerce platforms to make critical credit, fraud, and compliance decisions. The People Operations Manager will build and scale the People function, overseeing the full employee lifecycle and creating programs that support both individual and organizational success.
Responsibilities:
• Design, manage, and improve performance review cycles for fairness and actionable feedback.
• Implement career development programs to support professional growth and retention.
• Partner with Finance and Leadership on compensation reviews, bonus structures, employee levels, and equity planning.
• Own and manage the suite of employee benefits including healthcare, dental, and vision.
• Oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Design and administer employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and drive improvements.
• Lead recognition initiatives, including events and rituals to strengthen culture.
• Implement AI-powered tools and automations to enhance employee experience.
• Advise managers on people strategy and organizational design.
• Oversee HR processes including payroll, compliance, benefits, policies, and HRIS systems.
• Build and manage compliance infrastructure such as policy reviews, statutory training, and audits.
• Maintain documentation across all People processes and tools.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Business Partnering, or similar roles in high-growth or startup environments.
• Experience implementing performance management, compensation, and engagement programs.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
• Analytical and data-driven with the ability to use people metrics to guide strategy.
• Experience building HR programs from scratch and leveraging AI for employee experience improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to own initiatives end-to-end.
• Empathetic and committed to creating an exceptional employee experience.
• Self-starter comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
