About The Role

We are seeking a frontend-focused software engineer with a passion for creating intuitive product experiences, developing dev tooling, and working with data. In this role, you will join the Dagster Labs engineering team to contribute to building and enhancing the Dagster platform. Your work will help organizations create scalable and efficient data platforms by translating complex, information-dense data environments into user-friendly, powerful interfaces. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Fluent in JavaScript and React
• Expertise across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery and iteration
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality features by collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create reliable and engaging product experiences
• Engage directly with users to understand their challenges and translate feedback into actionable improvements
• Partner with product and go-to-market teams to deliver practical solutions aligned with real-world requirements
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and contribute to key technical decisions
• Identify opportunities for enhancement in code quality, user documentation, and performance, and lead initiatives to implement these improvements
