Job Description
Ainsley Search Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with solid experience in mechanical design, lean manufacturing, process development, to join a Global Electronic located in Collin County. This is a permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation, relocation assistance, bonus and competitive benefit package. Qualified candidate must have a BA Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related field, recent experience in developing, designing, setting up, testing and optimizing manufacturing process across circuit board assembly, fabrication, inspection.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and spend the majority of the time managing multiple manufacturing projects based off product design specifications.
- Provide tooling design, process, and operational support to reduce set-up times, downtime and increase efficiency.
- Provide engineering support in the form of process development, product testing, fixture, and process troubleshooting.
- Analyzing manufacturing process flows, identifying issues that affect efficiency, administering corrective actions to improve process; drives lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production yield, quality compliance, reduce variance and achieve cost saving.
- Work closely with R&D on product design, development, prototyping, ensure manufacturability of NPI based off customer product specifications.
- Developing, evaluating, and documenting manufacturing processes.
- Driving the use of Materials, Manpower, and Machines to increase productivity; provide production support for both assembly and fabrication department.
- Collaborating with Design Engineer, Maintenance Department, Production and Material Department to identify bottlenecks, implement changes to resolve issues and improve productivity.
- Interaction with vendors to ensure product quality meets specifications, monitor vendor performance and hold vendor responsible for quality issue.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of shop drawings, design and BOM, etc.
Qualifications:
- bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineer or related fields.
- Recent experience as Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing engineer, exposure to high volume, high mix, contract manufacturing process is a plus.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and CAD designs.
