Job Description
Piper Companies is looking for a Data Architect to join a leading advertising agency in a fully remote role to design and implement a modern data warehouse solution leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake on a 6–9 month contract working EST hours.
Responsibilities for the Data Architect:
- Lead the architecture and design of a scalable data warehouse solution using GCP and Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations for large, complex datasets.
- Define data modeling standards, governance practices, and performance tuning strategies for analytics workloads.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to ensure data solutions meet reporting and campaign performance requirements.
- 6–8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture roles.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development for enterprise-scale data warehouses.
- Experience with data governance, security, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with advertising or marketing analytics is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications in GCP or Snowflake preferred.
- Salary/Rate Range: $75 - $85 per hour (based on experience).
