Job Description


An international tech company building a comprehensive ecosystem for gaming teams — from a publishing engine and analytics infrastructure to its own accelerator for game studios.The focus is not on the games themselves, but on the tools that support launching, scaling, and managing them.

🌍 The distributed team works across the USA, Canada, and Europe.

We are currently looking for a strong Data Engineer to join the team and help develop the analytics platform.


Your future responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Redshift, S3, and other AWS services.

Build ETL/ELT processes for collecting data from game servers, blockchain networks, and third-party APIs.

Optimize Redshift performance through query tuning, table design, and data distribution strategies.

Develop data models for player behavior analytics, retention, monetization, and engagement.Integrate data from blockchain networks (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC) and NFT marketplaces.

Build streaming pipelines for real-time data processing using AWS Kinesis.

Work with Web3 data, ensuring accuracy and consistency between centralized and decentralized databases.

Develop and maintain infrastructure for A/B testing and statistical analysis.


What we expect from you:

3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

Strong expertise in AWS Redshift, including query optimization and performance tuning.

Experience with the AWS ecosystem (S3, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, and CloudFormation/CDK).

Proficiency in SQL and one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).

Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Apache Airflow, dbt, AWS Glue).

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
