About The Role

Myticas Consulting is seeking a part-time Remote Event Manager to support a New York City–based corporate client in planning and executing high-impact events. In this fully remote W2 contract role, you’ll partner closely with the Associate Director to deliver internal sales meetings, executive events, user conferences, and incentive programs that elevate brand presence, educate stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.

You will own day-to-day event logistics, manage vendors and third-party partners, support event strategy and project plans, and help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, customer-focused event professional who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments and enjoys managing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Associate Director in executing the team’s event goals and objectives
  • Plan, execute, and support post-event reconciliation for corporate events, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Contribute to event strategy and manage event project plans from initial planning through on-site execution and wrap-up
  • Oversee event logistics, including timelines, budgets, registration, communications, and on-site/virtual delivery
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, including contract negotiations, coordination, and payment processing

Requirements

  • Based in the United States with the ability to travel to New York City, NY 2–3 times per year
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in event planning and execution, including event management, branding, and onsite logistics
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier strategy and vendor management for corporate or large-scale events
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent event projects and consistently meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cvent Event Management and Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) platforms
  • Background supporting internal sales meetings, executive events, user conferences, or incentive programs for corporate clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in stakeholder-facing event roles
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset ———
