This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Electronics Technician who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys fault-finding, inspection, and testing. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment, supporting a high-profile project where precision, communication, and time management really matter.

  • Delivering consistently high-quality work to meet demanding project deadlines.
  • Accurately recording defects while following company policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out IPC-level inspections on electronic assemblies during production.
  • Following formal test documentation and recording results with precision — including hardware, software, and firmware configurations.
  • Using standard test equipment to take, analyse, and interpret measurements.
  • Feeding back on test documentation issues and discrepancies.
  • Logging test results confidently using internal systems and keeping records clear and up to date.

About You

  • Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a technical production or electronics role.
  • Strong background in electronics manufacturing, assembly, repair, or modification.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with confidence using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret electronic and mechanical drawings.
  • Good grasp of electronic components and core electronics principles.
  • Competent with IPC 610 and 620 standards.
  • A clear communicator who can juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable producing detailed documentation to specification.
  • Proficient with Office 365 and quick to pick up new systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and keen to grow and develop your career.

What’s In It for You?

  • Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle, with optional career progression paths.
  • Paid overtime or TOIL — earn up to 24 extra paid days per year or boost your salary.
  • Flexible working hours within core times: 09:30–12:00 & 14:00–16:00.
  • Role-specific allowances depending on project requirements.
  • 24 days’ holiday plus public holidays, with a Christmas shutdown.
  • A generous 14% pension contribution (7% employer + 7% employee).
  • Private medical care with access to 50+ clinics nationwide.
  • Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities.
  • Monthly salary-sacrifice schemes for bicycles and tech.
  • Relocation support available for eligible candidates.
