This is a full-time remote role for an Oracle Database Administrator. The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving Oracle and other database systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include database installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and resolving system issues. The role also involves ensuring database security, troubleshooting performance issues, database replication, and optimizing database queries to improve efficiency and enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration.
- Expertise in database solutions, including Replication techniques and maintaining database consistency across systems.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Thorough knowledge of Database Security measures to ensure the integrity and safety of critical data.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within distributed teams effectively.
- Experience in database migrations or cloud database management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
