Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist who will take charge of managing the social media presence across multiple platforms, logistics of our in-person and online events, including communication and promotion.
The key objectives of this role are to grow Chekin’s social audience, attract traffic to the website, and convert that traffic into leads, drive qualified traffic and engagement through social channels and events. The specialist will also focus on securing PR collaborations and leading the organization and the team’s success in industry online and offline events to increase brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Brand Presence
- Platform Management: Manage and grow Chekin’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and explore the potential of new platforms.
- Develop and execute a monthly social media plan aligned with product launches, partnerships, events, and GTM priorities
- Adapt existing content (blogs, case studies, webinars, sales assets) into high-performing social formats
- Experiment with new formats and platforms where relevant (e.g. video, carousels, thought leadership posts)
Community & Engagement
- Manage day-to-day community interactions: comments, DMs, mentions, and conversations
- Proactively engage with industry players, partners, creators, prospects, and influencers
- Help position Chekin team members (founders, sales, partnerships) as visible voices on LinkedIn
Events & Webinars (Online & Offline)
- Own the promotion, coordination (pre, during and post), of webinars and in-person industry events
- Work closely with Sales and Partnerships to ensure events generate measurable pipeline impact
- Support post-event lead nurturing and communications through HubSpot
Email Marketing & HubSpot Support
- Build and manage email sends, lists, basic workflows related to events
- Collaborate with other departments to support specific communications and marketing campaigns
- Maintain clean CRM practices related to social, campaigns and events
Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance across social, events, and email (reach, engagement, leads, MQLs)
- Share actionable insights and recommendations to improve impact and efficiency
- Ensure marketing activities are clearly connected to business outcomes, not just vanity metrics
Required Skills & Experience
Hard Skills
- 1+ year of hands-on experience managing social media for a B2B or SaaS brand
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a demand-gen and brand channel
- Practical experience using HubSpot (email marketing, lists, basic reports, basic workflows)
- Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, or similar)
- Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and translating them into actions
Content & Creative
- Ability to create or adapt content using tools like Canva (design) and basic video editing tools
- Strong copywriting skills for social posts and emails (clarity > fluff)
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Growth-oriented mindset: understands that marketing exists to drive business impact
- Strong written communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus)
- Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Organized and detail-oriented, especially when managing events and CRM data
- Curious and adaptable in a fast-moving SaaS environment
Experience & Education
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, or lifecycle marketing
- Degree in Marketing or similar is a plus, but hands-on experience and results matter more
- Professional working level of English is required
