Job Description


From fritz&Muller, we are currently working for a global digital food platform, operating internationally and collaborating with food and beverage industry players across more than 30 countries.


The selected professional will manage two key initiatives:

  • An established global digital platform focused on food and beverages.
  • A new digital food media project that will be built from scratch (0–1), including its social media presence, community development, events, and monetization strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversee daily global operations of the digital platform, including content moderation, feature updates, user support, and compliance with international regulations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for both the existing platform and the new digital project, including content calendars, campaigns, and cross-platform integrations (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Build, launch, and scale the new digital food media project from scratch (0–1), defining positioning, content strategy, tone of voice, and community engagement.
  • Plan, organize, and manage global conferences and events, including venue selection, speaker coordination, sponsorship acquisition, logistics, promotion, and on-site and/or online execution to strengthen community and brand visibility.
  • Drive platform monetization through advertising (programmatic, direct ads, sponsored content), sponsorships, partnerships, premium features, affiliate programs, in-app purchases, and other revenue models.
  • Perform in-depth analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, platform insights, and custom dashboards; track KPIs related to user growth, engagement, event performance, and revenue (e.g., ad performance, conversion rates, ROI).
  • Conduct user interviews, stakeholder discussions, and expert Q&As to gather insights for platform improvements, event programming, and monetization opportunities, and translate these insights into high-quality content.
  • Build and nurture a strong global community by managing interactions, responding to users, and leveraging events and conferences to deepen engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, sales, and regional teams to align digital and social strategies with overall business objectives and ensure cultural relevance across markets.
  • Monitor social media trends, algorithm changes, advertising platforms, and emerging technologies to keep the platforms competitive and revenue-optimized.
  • Manage budgets related to social media activities, events, conferences, and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), advertising regulations, and proactively mitigate risks related to content, events, and monetization.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Event Management, or a related field (advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, digital platform operations, or digital marketing, with at least 2–3 years in a global or international role.
  • Proven experience managing digital platforms and/or launching new digital projects from scratch.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing large-scale events or conferences (virtual, hybrid, or in-person).
  • Strong background in digital platform monetization, including advertising sales, sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking engagement, event ROI, and revenue metrics.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interviewing skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a proven ability to generate revenue through digital channels.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across international time zones.
