Job Description


About the Opportunity:

The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor across multiple functions within the organization, supporting strategic partnership, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and execution of core HR programs. This role operates in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment, focusing on shaping a high-performance culture, enabling managers, and creating a consistent employee experience for a distributed workforce. The position requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and a proactive approach.


Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals.

• Provide coaching on organizational design, workforce planning, career development, and performance management.

• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution with discretion and legal alignment.

• Support compensation cycles, job architecture, benefits inquiries, and Total Rewards processes in collaboration with People Operations.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on headcount planning, hiring strategies, interview support, and onboarding.

• Analyze talent and HR data to identify trends and recommend action plans.

• Support transformation initiatives related to culture, manager enablement, policy, and process improvements.

• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with relevant regulations.


Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience.

• Experience supporting leaders in fast-paced, high-growth, or transformation environments.

• Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation, employment law, and organizational development.

• Experience conducting investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues.

• Ability to build trusted relationships across a globally distributed workforce.

• Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

• Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics.

• Ability to operate with high judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.

• Experience in PE-backed or aviation organizations, with exposure to M&A, workforce management, or SaaS preferred.

• Experience with transformation, change management, or organizational effectiveness programs.

• Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.

• Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations.

• Interest in aviation is a plus.

Compensation:
