We’re hiring: Frontend Engineer (React / Web, Mobile a Plus)
Ciphertext Solutions builds secure, cloud-native fintech platforms for banks and credit unions. We’re SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliant, operate at scale, and value quality, automation, and thoughtful product design.
We’re looking for a product-minded Frontend Engineer with strong React and modern web experience to build high-performance, customer-facing interfaces across web—and potentially mobile. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, enjoys ownership, and wants real influence over user experience.
What you’ll do
- Build scalable UIs with React, TypeScript, CSS, and Next.js (SSR/SSG)
- Create reusable, accessible, high-performance components
- Integrate with REST APIs and headless CMSs (e.g., Strapi)
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams on UX and architecture
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD, and production support
- Help uphold fintech-grade security, performance, and reliability
- Optionally build mobile apps/SDKs using Kotlin Multiplatform (experience a plus, not required)
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years building production frontends with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS
- Strong Next.js experience
- Experience with APIs and secure frontend practices
- Comfort working cross-functionally in Agile teams
- Mobile, fintech, GCP, or regulated-environment experience is a plus
