Lead DevOps Engineer (Fully Remote) - Climate Tech Start-Up
Lead DevOps Engineer required for a high-growth climate tech start-up. This is a fully remote role, with optional access to offices in London and Cambridge. You’ll take ownership of cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy, helping scale a platform that delivers real-world climate impact.
What you’ll do
- Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure as we scale
- Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient CI/CD pipelines
- Lead DevOps strategy across reliability, observability, and cost optimisation
- Partner closely with product and engineering to ship faster and safer
- Mentor engineers and help set best-practice standards
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD tooling
- A pragmatic mindset and passion for clean, reliable systems
