Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
New York City (Chelsea) | Full-Time | In-Office (Mon–Fri)
Total Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base salary + meaningful equity

Our client is an AI-native finance automation company eliminating one of the most persistent inefficiencies in white-collar work: manual data entry.
Across investing, banking, and finance roles, 15–20% of time is still spent copying data between spreadsheets, CRMs, internal tools, and templates. This company replaces that work entirely using autonomous AI agents that:
- Read unstructured documents
- Extract critical financial data
- Write outputs directly into firm-specific systems

The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help spearhead product innovation and feature development across AI-powered finance workflows.
You will work directly with the founding team in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, contributing across the full software development lifecycle: architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building real systems used daily by sophisticated enterprise customers and wants to operate close to both product and business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Own and ship end-to-end features across a complex, production-grade codebase
- Build AI-driven workflows that integrate LLMs directly into core financial products
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and design to move from concept to deployment quickly
- Design and maintain scalable systems used by some of the world’s largest financial institutions
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience as the platform scales

AI & LLM Proficiency
- Strong understanding of modern AI capabilities in production environments
- Hands-on experience or curiosity around:
- Prompting strategies
- Fine-tuning and evaluation
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Integrating LLMs into real product workflows
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer or similar role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Rust, Go, C#, gaming systems, or mobile app development
- Founder experience or early-stage startup background
- Open-source contributions or technically interesting passion projects
