This remote role is based in Costa Rica or El Salvador and only open to citizens and permanent residents of Costa Rica or El Salvador who do not need visa sponsorship.

ImagineX Studio - Costa Rica is a product-oriented and boutique software development company. We partner with our clients to become their product team, helping them from ideation to product launch. We commit to delivering quality, impactful, ground-breaking products that can realize our client's vision and make their life easier. We’re looking for developers who can work as a member of a distributed team to design, architect, and build system components. Our team works with many technologies, so our developers must be versatile throughout the stack and work to improve their skills continuously. We have an ever-growing roadmap comprised of interesting work throughout our platform’s stack and are searching for the right people to help us.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Product Management Organization, the Technical Product Manager drives vision, maintains customer focus and ensures the product meets the market's needs. Given the intrinsic relationship between founders of early-stage startups and development teams at ImagineX, the Product Manager (PM) is the glue between both. They understand the company’s technology and business at a deep level and can interact with the development team and stakeholders to lead the strategy for the product
  • Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations to take technical products from early concept to launch.
  • Be on top of new technologies and technical trends and assess the implications of those on projects.
  • Drive security, scalability and infrastructure activities and discussions along the development team.
  • Define vision, strategy, roadmap and OKRs for the product
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
  • Assess and address technical risks.
  • Maintain a prioritized and refined backlog through constant communication with stakeholders, client product managers and/or other client representatives, security, IT stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into technical user stories following consistent standards.
  • Coordinate product releases with marketing, sales, security and development teams.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Drive Scrum ceremonies with the team

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment.
  • Proven understanding of the software development cycle and release planning in a continuous delivery/DevOps environment.
  • Experience working with technical products or projects with service management, systems integrations, batch processes, software infrastructure, process automation or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, being comfortable interacting and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen curiosity towards making things better.
  • Familiarity or experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming etc.
  • An analytical mind, capable of setting, monitoring, and/or optimizing success metrics for the product.
  • Team player.
  • Minimum C1 English Level.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops from customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience with business modeling.
  • Experience in drawing insights from data and visualization of data.
  • Passion for human-centered design and/or lean innovation.
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multinational environment.
