Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Manager, Growth in Virginia .

In this role, you will lead growth strategy for a complex, enterprise-grade developer platform used by highly technical teams. You will operate at the intersection of product-led growth and sales-assisted motions, driving measurable adoption and expansion without compromising trust, security, or governance. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, combining data-driven experimentation with thoughtful product design. You will influence how users discover value, move from onboarding to adoption, and expand usage over time. Working closely with product, engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams, you will shape experiences that scale from early adoption to repeatable enterprise growth. The environment is collaborative, remote-first, and focused on impact and continuous learning.

Accountabilities

  • Own the end-to-end growth strategy across acquisition, activation, adoption, retention, and conversion
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact growth initiatives using product analytics, experimentation, and customer insights
  • Design and ship in-product experiences that reduce time-to-value for developers, platform teams, and enterprise stakeholders
  • Lead experimentation efforts across onboarding, trials, packaging, entitlements, and usage-based signals
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, design, data, marketing, and sales to align product-led and sales-assisted growth motions
  • Define and track success metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, and expansion
  • Influence roadmap and investment decisions by tying growth insights to clear customer and business outcomes
  • Act as a thought partner and mentor, raising the bar for growth product practices across the organization

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of product management experience, with deep ownership of growth or product-led initiatives
  • Proven track record driving growth for developer tools, DevOps platforms, infrastructure products, or B2B SaaS
  • Strong experience operating in enterprise or hybrid product-led and sales-led environments
  • Advanced skills in product analytics, funnel analysis, and experiment design
  • Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable results
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Systems-level thinking across UX, onboarding, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market motions
  • Comfort working with technical products and highly technical audiences
  • Growth mindset with curiosity, resilience, and a bias toward iteration and learning
  • Exposure to AI-powered capabilities or pricing and consumption-based models is a plus

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $245,000 annually, depending on experience and location
  • Stock options and eligibility for variable bonus plans
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage
  • HSA and FSA options
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States
  • Flexible time-off policy and paid company holidays
  • Paid parental leave
