We’re looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Review requirements and provide feedback from a quality perspective
- Improve test coverage, test reliability, and testing processes
- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, frameworks, and results
- Experience in software testing or QA (including internships or project experience)
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full working rights (citizen, PR, or valid work visa)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with Agile / Scrum teams
- ISTQB or other testing certifications
