Job Description
If you've led enterprise compliance audits across SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS and can identify gaps in security documentation at a glance, this role offers you the opportunity to embed your expertise into an AI-powered certification platform. You will apply your judgment to refine automated systems, allowing machines to handle routine tasks while you focus on the decisions that require human insight.
IgniteTech is developing an AI-driven compliance engine designed for enterprise software environments. The system uses generative AI to produce audit-ready evidence, propose risk mitigation strategies, and resolve the majority of customer security inquiries without manual intervention. Your responsibility centers on the critical 20%: calibrating the AI, training its models, and intervening when expert judgment becomes necessary. The objective is not to eliminate human oversight, but to multiply the impact of a single compliance professional.
This position is not a traditional compliance analyst role with an elevated title. You will not be managing signature workflows or reformatting policy documents. Instead, you will oversee the reliability of an autonomous compliance system—identifying where the AI requires guidance, verifying outputs against auditor standards, and acting decisively when customer confidence is at stake. System improvements will stem directly from your corrections, rules, and refinements.
You will collaborate with AI engineering teams, compliance strategy personnel, and product operations leadership, operating at the convergence of security domain knowledge and generative AI capability. If you understand when to rely on automation, when to intervene, and when to educate the system, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
- Certification Audit Packages: Curated sets of verified documentation and evidence required to uphold PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 certifications.
- Customer Security Responses: Customized answers to detailed security inquiries, questionnaires, or assurance requests.
- Governance Document Updates: Revisions to policies, procedures, or risk treatment plans prompted by regulatory shifts or organizational changes.
- AI System Tuning Memos: Modifications to AI system behavior (including training data, guardrails, and escalation logic) that enhance performance or compliance precision.
- Maintain enterprise-level compliance assurance by managing AI-enhanced certification processes and reinforcing customer trust.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing or directing certification audits
- End-to-end management experience with each of the following audits: SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
- Proven experience evaluating and responding to complex customer security questionnaires
- Competence in using GenAI tools to review, produce, and modify compliance artifacts
