Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with machine learning experts to develop, train, and research new models and approaches.
- Independently develop new machine learning pipelines (e.g., AWS Sagemaker) and integrate serverless applications.
- Integrate developed models into idealo's value chain, ensuring scalability and maintainability in cooperation with other teams.
- Continuously optimize our cloud-native system.
- Make decisions about new architectures and solution approaches with the team.
- Develop feedback loops to generate new training data as part of the machine learning lifecycle.
- Participate in shaping the company's strategy and vision, leading discussions with teams and colleagues.
Profile / Requirements :
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to question the status quo and communicate new ideas effectively.
- Authenticity and strong communication skills.
- Experience in machine learning (preferably in natural language processing, transformer models, ML Ops).
- Initial experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a desire to expand your expertise.
- Familiarity with serverless applications and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- VALID EU WORK PERMIT and location in Poland
- A proactive attitude to help idealo overcome technological challenges.
- Experience with image/text classification, entity resolution, or multimodal models.
- Skills in Java, Scala, Spark.
