Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Remote (US)

I’m hiring on behalf of my client, a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company building next-generation infrastructure tooling for engineers and AI-driven systems.

They are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and continuous operation of their core platform and managed self-hosted customer environments.

About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining production-grade systems, improving operational excellence, and supporting customers running mission-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and continuously improve the core platform and all self-hosted customer environments
• Monitor production systems and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Support customers with investigations, custom configurations, and tailored solutions
• Establish and enhance internal processes for releases, operations, and customer support
• Design and build internal tools for troubleshooting and day-to-day operations
• Participate in an on-call rotation and incident response

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
• Strong understanding of networking, containers, and distributed systems
• Experience building or supporting production systems at scale

• Cloud: GCP, AWS (exposure to Azure or OCI a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $150,000 – $225,000
• Equity: Competitive
• Visa sponsorship: Available on a case-by-case basis (no net new H-1Bs; preference for US citizens or Green Card holders)
• Employment type: Full-time
• 100% remote (US-based)
