CSI Companies is seeking an Oracle HIM Systems Analyst to work a full-time, direct hire role with one of our top healthcare clients!


Location: 100% Remote

Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay: $40 - $45/hr W2

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm

Description:

Position Summary

The Oracle HIM Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle-based healthcare information systems that support Health Information Management (HIM) operations. This role partners closely with HIM leadership, clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure system functionality, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflows across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary systems analyst for Oracle healthcare/HIM-related applications and integrations.
  • Analyze HIM workflows and translate business requirements into system configurations and technical specifications.
  • Configure, maintain, and support Oracle systems to ensure accurate medical record management, data reporting, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HIM, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and IT teams to resolve system issues and improve performance.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance for upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot errors, and resolve system defects in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, Joint Commission, CMS, state and federal regulations).
  • Assist with system integrations between Oracle, EHR platforms, and downstream reporting tools.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to HIM and operational teams.
  • Participate in system upgrades, new module implementations, and optimization initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in a healthcare environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle-based systems (Oracle Cloud, Oracle HCM, Oracle ERP, or Oracle healthcare solutions).
  • Strong understanding of HIM workflows, medical records management, and healthcare data standards.
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, and supporting system configurations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (HIPAA).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and system integrations.
  • HIM credentials such as RHIA or RHIT.
  • Oracle certifications or formal Oracle Cloud training.
  • Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or data validation related to HIM operations.
  • Prior experience working in a remote healthcare IT environment.


Technical Skills

  • Oracle Cloud / Oracle ERP / Oracle HCM platforms
  • SQL and data analysis tools (preferred)
  • Interface engines and data integrations (HL7 knowledge a plus)
  • Healthcare data standards and documentation workflows
  • Ticketing and change management systems
