The Role
Your Responsibilities Will Include

The Role
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Manage our mobile dev team, 5+ developers
- Manage in Java/Kotlin.
- Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during the development phase.
- Collaborate with team members and provide technical insight as needed.
- Perform individual project components within the entire development life cycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Other duties assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin
- 5 years of Experience working with native Android Development and with different Android OS variations (4.4 and up).
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of different security aspects (encryption, API protection, SSH, etc.)
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, etc.
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools. Understanding of Git branching models such as Git Flow and comfortable doing code reviews.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and appetite to learn.
- Able to work and deliver under pressure and within deadlines.
- Do not apply unless you have Team Lead experience, 3 yrs+
