Senior PPC Manager (Remote)

In a nutshell we're looking for you to:
* Own strategy, execution and results across 15–20 care home clients in a single, proven niche.
* Be the founder’s right hand on everything Google Ads.
* Be 100% remote, on UK working hours, in a small, high-ownership team.
* Want a clear path to Head of Digital as we roll out more digital packages.
Compensation and progression:
* £45,000 base salary.
* Performance bonus tied to client retention (% of gross profit on retained clients). (Typical year-one OTE £50,000–£55,000).
* Company profit share after 6 months.
* Path to “Head Of Digital Marketing” as we scale our digital packages (we’re growing client quota 80% per year).
* Optional auto-enrolment on pension plan
* 25 days holiday + birthday + bank holidays.
* Budget for training
In your first 90 days you will:
* Take ownership of 15–20 Google Ads accounts in the care home sector.
* Implement a standardised account structure, naming conventions and reporting across all accounts
* Improve cost per enquiry and ROAS across a defined set of priority accounts by an agreed % (we’ll set this target together based on current performance).
* Document and refine SOPs so freelancers can run playbooks without you hand-holding.

Our small, 100% remote team has grown to the point that we need a Senior Google PPC Manager to help continue our growth.
For this key strategic position you’ll need to:
* Own the entire Google PPC function end-to-end: strategy and execution and outcomes. This is not a “just do Google PPC” role. This is an own-the-numbers, get-in-the-weeds role at one of the top UK care home marketing agencies.
* Know your way around the Google PPC dashboard, including tracking, ongoing optimisation and negative keyword-inclusion, as if it’s the back of your hand.
* Live in the numbers: ROI, LTV, ROAS. You are the person who can explain exactly what £1000 in ad spend returns to a care home.
* Be an exceptionally confident and clear communicator with clients.
* Be able to blend strategic insight with hands-on meticulous PPC execution.
* Not need external motivation to get you up in the morning. This is a 100%-remote based role.
* Be someone who’s excited to take both the reins and responsibility to be our small agency’s #1 lead in improving our digital solution for our clients - and exciting the founder with your strategic problem-solving mindset to Google Ads.
* Be ready to coach and lead freelancers to grow their confidence and skills. Good freelancers have been the foundation of Springup PR’s growth.
* Be able to spot opportunities for up-selling clients to other Springup PR solutions.
* Identify when, and how, AI can improve our PPC solution. And stay ahead of platform updates, automation trends, and emerging paid search tactics.
* Be willing to seek help and advice whenever needed.
Summary of day-to-day-responsibilities:
* Handle 15-20 care home client PPC accounts per month, with 2 fortnightly conference calls per fortnight with clients. Client ad spend from £800 to £3000 per month.
* Ongoing weekly optimisations on client accounts.
* Present strategies, plans, and reports to clients with clarity and confidence.
* Rebuild account structures, as required, to drive efficiency and performance.
* Conduct deep keyword research and continue to maintain robust negative keyword frameworks.
* Communicate and solidifying relationships with our Live Chat and tel call recording partners.
* Working and co-ordinating with freelancers on accounts. (We've an excellent recruitment method for freelance talent)
* Work with website designer on ideas for landing pages to improve ads performance.
* Update onboarding materials and SOPs, leading internal PPC team huddles.
* Willing and able to attend occasional webinars and represent Springup PR at events (help and advice would be provided).
* Spend 2 minutes updating a Daily Shutdown Scorecard at the end of each work day. This reflection is important, and also helps us to help you succeed.
Desirable experience:
* 5+ years hands-on PPC experience (preferably agency) in a busy environment.
* Leading and inspiring small teams.
