D365 F&O Developer – D365, Dynamics 365, Dynamics365, F&O, Finance & Operations, FinOps, F&SCM, Finance & Supply Chain Management, FSCM, Developer, Technical Consultant, X++, PowerBI, SSRS - $120-140k – US Remote
Our manufacturing end user client are looking for an experienced D365 F&O Developer to create customisations and extensions using X++. Any experience in reports development using PowerBI and/or SSRS would be highly beneficial.
The role can be completed on a remote basis from anywhere in the US. Candidates must be able to work freely without requiring sponsorship. This is a full time, permanent position so C2C will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- D365 F&O Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations, extensions, and integrations within D365 F&O using X++.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain sophisticated business intelligence and reporting solutions using Power BI and/or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to provide actionable data insights.
- Technical Design: Collaborate with Functional Consultants and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into detailed technical design documents.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to D365 F&O, integrations, and performance bottlenecks.
- Best Practices: Ensure adherence to development best practices, quality standards, and code management processes (e.g., Azure DevOps).
Key Skills & Experience:
- Deep Expertise in X++: Extensive hands-on experience in developing and debugging code within the D365 F&O development environment (e.g., custom forms, tables, classes, services, batch jobs).
- D365/AX Development Lifecycle: Proven experience with the full development lifecycle in D365 F&O (or earlier versions like Dynamics AX 2012).
- Reporting Tools: Strong experience in developing reports using at least one of the following:
- Power BI: Data modeling, DAX, and visualization of D365 F&O data.
- SSRS: Developing complex and pixel-perfect reports using RDPs and AOT queries.
- Integration Experience: Familiarity with integration patterns like Data Entities, OData, and Logic Apps/Power Automate.
- Database Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and writing optimized T-SQL queries.
