ERPNext Solution Architect

Relocation Opportunity: UAE (Dubai) – Performance-based (future)

We are looking for a hands-on ERPNext Solution Architect to design and lead the implementation of ERPNext as the System of Record, integrated with a custom operations platform used across large-scale GCC operations (UAE & Saudi Arabia).

This is not a theoretical role. You will work closely with the BRD owner and product leadership to translate real business requirements into a clean, scalable, and upgrade-safe ERPNext architecture, while enforcing strict data ownership boundaries between ERPNext and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the overall ERPNext architecture (HR, Finance, Assets, Procurement, Payroll integrations)
• Translate BRDs into:

ERPNext configurations

Custom ERPNext apps (without modifying core)

• Define and enforce data ownership boundaries between ERPNext and external platforms
• Design and implement:

Approval workflows

Roles, permissions, and access control

• Lead custom app development using the Frappe Framework
• Build, document, and maintain REST API integrations Ensure:

Scalability

Performance

Upgrade safety

• Review code and enforce ERPNext & Frappe best practices
• Support UAT, guide functional consultants, and resolve architectural issues
• Clearly explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on ERPNext experience (not only functional)
• Strong experience with: Frappe Framework, Custom DocTypes & Workflows, ERPNext Roles & Permissions, REST APIs & System Integrations
• Strong Python skills
• Proven experience building custom ERPNext apps (no core hacking)
• Solid understanding of:

HRMS

Finance & Accounting

• Experience with GCC environments (UAE / Saudi Arabia) is a strong plus
• Strong architectural judgment — ability to say
• “This should NOT be customized”
• Excellent communication in English

(Arabic is a plus, not mandatory)
