Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Director of Infrastructure for a rapidly growing, operations-driven organization supporting manufacturing, distribution, and corporate environments. This is a full-time onsite role based in the Columbus, OH, supporting a highly collaborative, hands-on culture. Open to candidates willing to relocate, with relocation assistance available.

This role leads infrastructure technology across manufacturing, distribution, and headquarters environments in a high-growth organization where reliability and execution matter. You will own uptime, performance, and scalability across on-prem, cloud, network, and operational technology systems, while building strong processes and teams. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the work, the people, and the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead enterprise infrastructure operations across on-prem, cloud, network, security, and factory connectivity environments
- Oversee reliable delivery of core services including servers, storage, backup/DR, collaboration tools, and OT networks
- Design and evolve LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and secure connectivity supporting manufacturing, distribution, and corporate teams
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing infrastructure team while partnering with vendors and service providers
- Drive disciplined change management, incident response, and continuous improvement practices
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the infrastructure roadmap aligned to business growth
- Own vendor and service provider relationships, including ISPs, MSPs, and technology partners, ensuring performance, cost control, and alignment with business needs
- Ensure operational readiness through regular testing of disaster recovery, monitoring, and support processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading infrastructure in complex, multi-site or operational environments
- Highly prefer manufacturing / distribution industry experience
- Hands-on technical background across networks, data centers, cloud platforms, and security fundamentals
- Proven ability to build processes, measure outcomes, and lead teams through execution
- Strong vendor management, project leadership, and operational decision-making skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments is highly valued
- Comfortable working onsite in dynamic, physically active environments
- Collaborative leadership style with a strong user-focused mindset
- A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
