Type: Long-term Contract (12 months, with possibility of extension)
Location: 100% Remote – Open to candidates located at (TX, FL, AZ, SC, NC, KY, GA, IN, TN)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
About the Role
We’re looking for a Security Architect with strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and security automation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on designing secure systems, building automation, and ensuring enterprise environments stay protected against evolving threats.
You’ll collaborate with IT and security teams to design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions that align with business goals. If you enjoy solving complex problems, automating processes, and making systems safer, this is a great opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead efforts in Identity & Access Management (SSO, MFA, Active Directory, etc.)
- Build and implement automation across security and IT tools
- Design and deploy enterprise security solutions that protect sensitive data
- Develop strategies to prevent and mitigate security threats
- Ensure consistent application of security controls across applications and infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with automation development (Python, Bash)
- Strong background in identity and access control systems
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and awareness
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and network security protocols
- Experience supporting large IT environments or system deployments
Preferred Skills:
- SIEM analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, CMS MARS-E)
- Application security (AppSec)
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or vendor-specific SIEM/logging certifications
