Infrastructure Engineer

🤖Hiring: Infrastructure Cloud Engineer x3

📍 Location: 100% Remote (UK based)

🗓Start date: ASAP – competitive inside IR35 contract – 6 months initially with likely extension

Experis are working with a Global Leader in the Insurance industry who are looking for talented Infrastructure Cloud Engineers for an exciting infrastructure project.

Required skills:

• Great knowledge of cloud-based solutions from an infrastructure viewpoint (AWS current and main – as well as Azure and MS technologies)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies e.g. Windows Server and Active Directory (Azure)
• Experience of building environments, with top working knowledge of DevOps principals and technologies (IAC) e.g. Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience of Install or assist in the installation of applications/services and automation.
• Promoting releases across the environments through to production.
• Having worked with Architects and other teams to build Environments based on high level designs to ensure required standards/patterns are adhered to.

Nice to have:

• SQL Server
• Snowflake knowledge from an administrative point of view.
• Experience working with various technology stacks for compute, storage, virtualization, and network products ideally consisting of VMware, Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, Pure, and others
