Talent Groups is hiring a Full Stack Java focused Software Engineer with strong backend experience in Java and Spring Boot. This role supports internal, on premises applications and contributes across the full stack. You will work closely with cross functional teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Ideal candidates are based in Denver or located in Pacific or Mountain Time.

What You Will Do
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations
• Support front end components (React, Angular, or similar)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system performance
• Work within a fully on premises environment
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, engineers, and business teams
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Preferred experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo, and New Relic APM
What We Are Looking For
• Three to five years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands on experience with:
o Java
o Spring Boot and Spring Framework
o RESTful API design
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on premises environment
Nice to Have
• Experience with CI or CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab
• Experience with New Relic or similar APM tools
• Experience building front end applications (React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript)
• Experience in regulated or secure environments
