Friday Harbor is a modern AI mortgage underwriting tool. It helps lenders identify problems in a loan file upfront, resolving potential issues earlier, and assembling clean, complete, compliant files from the start.


We’re a well-funded, Seattle-based startup backed by top-tier investors (Abstract, Mischief, Wischoff, AI2 Incubator, CoFound) and trusted by leading lenders across the country, including several of the top-25 lenders in the country.


Role Description


This is a full-time, in-office role for a Director of Strategic Account Sales located in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on prospecting, cultivating, and developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling practices.


The Director will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, and aligning sales strategies to meet company goals.


Additionally, the role involves creating actionable plans, collaborating with internal teams, and identifying new market opportunities to ensure sustained success.

  • Ability to build strong, genuine, long-term relationships.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years in the US residential mortgage or mortgage technology industry. You will need a strong understanding of our customers' business (mortgage lending) from day one to succeed in this role.
  • Deep familiarity with the mortgage technology ecosystem, including major LOS systems like Encompass
  • Strong relationships among lenders in the US residential mortgage industry
  • Live in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate immediately (company will assist with relocation for exceptional candidates)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, strong references


Compensation: $120-150k base + variable bonus with $200k+ OTE target

This is a full-time in-office role in Seattle. Company will assist with relocation for exceptional candidates in the US.
