Engineering Experts for AI Research Lab

• Title: Engineering Experts (Remote)
• Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
• Rate: USD 60-80/hour
• Location: Remote – candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction.

About the Role

We are hiring for one of our clients collaborating with a leading AI research lab to advance engineering problem-solving in artificial intelligence. The project involves creating rigorous, multi-step engineering problems and evaluating AI-generated solutions for technical accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Design original engineering problems requiring multi-domain integration, analytical reasoning, and real-world system modeling.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, assumptions, and computational accuracy.
• Document complete, clear solutions and derivations using LaTeX formatting.
• Maintain high standards of technical precision, rigor, and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing, grading, or evaluating analytical or design-focused problems (academic, professional, or research projects).
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in LaTeX formatting for technical documents.

Preferred Experience

• Mentorship or participation in engineering design, modeling challenges, or competitive problem-solving is a plus—but not required.
