Senior Product Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Fluck’s founding team and take end-to-end ownership of design across our mobile app and SaaS-based business portal.

This role is ideal for someone who can think beyond visuals, combining UX research, product thinking, accessibility, and system-level design, and collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ship meaningful, scalable experiences.

⚠️ This is a founding, equity-based role (unpaid initially). Salary and full-time options will be explored once we raise funding or reach revenue milestones.

Fluck is building:

1. A User Super App combining loyalty, rewards, financial insights, and social experiences
2. A Business Portal (SaaS) enabling merchants to run loyalty programs, view customer insights, and manage engagement

Our long-term vision is to build an ecosystem across loyalty, fintech, data, and social interactions, designed primarily for Gen Z and Millennials.

Core Responsibilities

1. Own UX and UI design across mobile app and web-based SaaS products
2. Conduct UX research, user interviews, usability testing, and insight synthesis
3. Translate research into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs
4. Design intuitive, scalable experiences for mobile-first products and admin/business portals
5. Build, maintain, and evolve a design system / component library in Figma
6. Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.x accessibility standards and usability best practices
7. Collaborate closely with product managers to shape requirements and scope
8. Work hand-in-hand with frontend and backend engineers to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation
9. Review implemented designs and provide feedback to maintain consistency and quality
10. Contribute to overall product storytelling and brand consistency

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer / UI Designer
• Strong proficiency with Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, libraries)

Proven experience in:

•  UX research & usability testing
•  Wireframing and interaction design
•  High-fidelity UI design for mobile and web

Experience designing:

1. Mobile apps (iOS & Android)
2. SaaS or admin/business portals
3. Solid understanding of WCAG 2.x accessibility standards
4. Experience building and maintaining design systems
5. Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React concepts) to collaborate effectively with engineers
6. Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
7. Strong communication skills and a high level of ownership

Bonus (Nice to Have)

1. Experience working in fintech, SaaS, or data-driven products
2. Familiarity with AI tools for faster research, ideation, or design workflows
3. Startup or early-stage product experience

Commitment & Structure

Fully remote

Flexible working hours alongside other commitments

Expected commitment: minimum ~20 hours per week

 Head of Design

 Founding Designer / Design Co-founder (based on contribution and ownership)
