Senior Backend Engineer (FinTech)

We are recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer for a premier FinTech company based in Hong Kong. This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of core infrastructure and quantitative trading systems, with direct impact on system stability, performance, and engineering efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

▸ Design and evolve company-wide foundational frameworks, microservices, and technical platforms.

▸ Develop and maintain high-availability, high-performance quantitative trading systems.

▸ Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enhance engineering productivity.

Qualifications:

▸ Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

▸ Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and operating systems.

▸ Proficiency in Golang or Python is preferred. We also welcome experts with deep experience in Java, C++, or Rust who are interested in transitioning to Go.

▸ Hands-on experience with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and similar technologies.

▸ Interest in learning about blockchain, Web3, or financial technology; ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving domain.

▸ Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a sense of technical ownership.

Preferred Experience:

▸ Practical experience with cloud-native technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

▸ Experience in designing and developing monitoring and observability systems.

▸ Background in high-concurrency, low-latency systems within internet or finance sectors.
