Game Designer – Slot & Casino Games (Remote | Europe)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Game Designer to craft engaging gameplay experiences for online slot games. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director, Developers, and Product team to design innovative mechanics, compelling bonus features, and smooth player journeys. Your understanding of player psychology, slot math, and UX will help deliver games that captivate and retain players.
🔹 Key Responsibilities- Game Concept Design: Create innovative slot game concepts including core gameplay, bonus rounds, and progression systems.
- Game Design Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed GDDs covering game features, math models, symbol behavior, pay tables, and UI flows.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with art, development, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of the design vision.
- Gameplay Balancing: Balance mechanics for rewarding progression, optimal volatility, and engaging player experiences.
- Market Research & Trends: Analyze industry trends and competitor titles to introduce fresh ideas and innovative features.
- Feedback & Iteration: Review playtest feedback and performance data to refine and improve engagement and retention.
- Prototyping: Build prototypes and wireframes to communicate ideas clearly and validate concepts early.
- Player Experience Optimization: Ensure intuitive, immersive, and enjoyable gameplay aligned with player expectations.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in slot or casino game design.
- Slot Mechanics Expertise: Strong understanding of RTP, volatility, hit rates, math models, and engagement loops.
- Game Economy & Monetization: Familiarity with balancing economies and monetization strategies.
- Documentation & Tools: Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Excel, Figma, or similar tools.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Casino Background (Mandatory): Candidates must come from casino & slot game backgrounds.
- Geography: European candidates only.
- Analytical Skills: Mathematical or analytical background is a plus.
