Our growing Greek DMC is seeking an experienced, full-time travel designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be motivated, organized, and passionate about traveling with an eye for good style and content. This position is remote within Greece and provides a full-time salary with the opportunity for bonuses and travel incentives. This role is fast-paced and requires acute attention to detail. The right candidate must be able to pivot quickly as the trip requires.
We are seeking experienced candidates with at least 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing client or travel agent consultation and communication, including marketing material and proposals
- Designing and overseeing an itinerary start to finish
- Creating client profiles and projects in CRM and project management systems
- Sourcing and pricing all components of the trip within the systems, including vendor outreach
- Editing ready-to-use content in Canva
- Creating payment orders and confirming trip details upon booking
- Vetting and inputting new vendor information in our systems
- Curating recommendations for itineraries
- Thorough following of project guidelines, including detailed review of trip budgets, inclusions, and confirmations between client and vendor
- Joining work incentive trips and site checks to experience destinations, hotels, and vendors first-hand
The ideal candidate should be:
- Experienced in a similar role with 1-2 years experience (required)
- Based in Athens, Greece
- A creative problem-solver
- Strong at multi-tasking
- Strategic and detail-oriented
- A self-starter who takes initiative
- Proficient in Office Programs, Excel, and Canva – CRM and GDS systems a plus
- Able to work as an independent contractor
- Fluent in English language (verbal & written)
