Job Summary:
The Senior Director, Talent Management & Development leads enterprise-wide strategies that grow leaders, elevate performance, and strengthen Collette’s culture of connection. This role balances four key areas: Learning & Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management Talent Mobility, all designed to help Collette employees learn, grow, and lead with purpose.
Reporting to the SVP, People & Culture, this leader manages a team of three and plays a pivotal role in cultivating leadership capability, deepening engagement, and aligning people strategies with business goals.
Primary Functions:
Talent Management
- Design and lead Collette’s enterprise-wide talent management strategy, integrating performance, potential, and readiness to ensure a strong internal leadership pipeline
- Oversee and facilitate performance management cycle, promotion planning, calibration, and talent reviews, ensuring consistent processes, fair evaluations, and actionable outcomes that strengthen leadership continuity and workforce agility.
- Advise senior leaders and People Partners on talent movement, development planning, and organizational design to align talent strategy with business priorities
- Co-design and operationalize performance management policies and procedures, including documentation standards, templates, toolkits, and communication plans that promote clarity and accountability.
- Lead the enablement and training of people leaders on talent and performance processes, building their capability to hold effective career, feedback, and development conversations.
- Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement in performance and talent programs, fostering an equitable and transparent approach to employee growth and recognition.
- Model strong people leadership through hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing, purpose-driven teams.
Learning & Development
- Partner with business leaders and HR to align learning priorities with succession and performance outcomes, ensuring that development programs directly support Collette’s talent strategy.
- Design and deliver multi-modal learning programs that build business acumen, leadership capability, and career development skills.
- Enhance curriculum design and implement innovative, scalable learning solutions using platforms like Litmos, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Develop leadership programs, apprenticeships, and manager toolkits that strengthen organizational capability and prepare employees for future roles.
Employee Engagement
- Champion initiatives that build connection, collaboration, and culture across the organization.
- Design and facilitate culture-building and engagement activities that align with Collette’s mission and values.
- Partner with People & Culture and Communications teams to promote storytelling, highlight success, and amplify employee voices.
- Drive engagement strategies that strengthen connection to our purpose and to one another.
Performance Management through Coaching & Feedback
- Cultivate a culture of coaching and feedback by equipping leaders to have growth-oriented, transparent and future-focused conversations.
- Create tools, frameworks, and learning experiences that make feedback a natural part of how we learn, lead and collaborate.
- Coach leaders and teams to build self-awareness, collaboration, and accountability
- Embed coaching principles into performance and development programs to ensure ongoing growth and measurable impact.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Over a decade of experience leading initiatives in Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Organizational Development across diverse industries including travel, technology, retail, and financial services.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experienced in talent calibration, succession planning, and performance management operations, including the design of scalable frameworks, tools, and enablement programs for leaders for mid-size organizations.
- Skilled at designing innovative, scalable, and high-impact learning programs with strong completion and adoption rates.
- Curious, proactive, and thoughtful. You drive process improvement with a focus on smart, sustainable implementation.
- Experienced in building career development pathways, coaching leaders, and driving cultural transformation.
- Proficient with modern HRIS, learning, performance management and employee experience platforms (Examples but not limited to: Cornerstone, Degreed, LearnUpon, CultureAmp, 15Five, HiBob, SharePoint, Teams).
- AI-curious and committed to continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies and trends to thoughtfully apply them in learning and organizational development work.
- Adept at balancing strategic vision with practical execution to deliver people solutions that support organizational growth.

Compensation & Benefits
We believe in taking care of our team—inside and outside of work.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $175,000.
