The role
As a Software Engineer (API, Ruby on Rails), you'll work on client-facing applications, building robust APIs and contributing to well-architected systems in an Agile, consultancy-style environment. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external clients.

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and applications using Ruby on Rails.

• Collaborate with clients, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Contribute to system and application design, promoting best practices and clean architecture.

• Support continuous improvement through TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and effective release management.

• Provide technical input, knowledge sharing, and support across project teams.
  
  

• Strong experience as a Software Engineer (API, Ruby on Rails) building scalable, production-grade APIs.

• Comfortable working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Heroku, AWS, or similar.

• Background working in a software consultancy or client-delivery-focused environment.

• Passionate about writing clean code and delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
