Junior SEO Specialist

Role Focus: Day-to-Day Execution & Team Support

This role is ideal for an early-career professional who understands the basics of SEO and is ready to get their hands dirty with execution, reporting, and maintenance.

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of our SEO efforts, handling daily maintenance tasks and assisting senior team members with strategy implementation. You will be responsible for ensuring our websites are technically sound, content is optimized, and performance is tracked accurately.

• Daily Maintenance: Perform daily health checks on the company website to identify 404 errors, broken links, and crawl issues.
• On-Page Optimization: Assist in optimizing meta titles, descriptions, and H-tags.
• Keyword Research: Conduct basic keyword research to identify new content opportunities and long-tail variations.
• Content Support: Upload and format content in the CMS (Strapi), ensuring proper internal linking structures are followed.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing weekly and monthly performance reports using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and report on changes in their rankings or content strategies.
• Team Support: Ad-hoc SEO tasks to support the Senior SEO Manager and Content Team.

• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO or Digital Marketing.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. Basic knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (ability to read source code) and experience working within a CMS.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a keen eye for detail.
