πΉ Role Overview
As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-level applications. You will design and implement automated testing solutions, collaborate closely with developers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects.
π§ Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java (8+/JEE) and JavaScript.
- Write clean, secure, and maintainable test code to ensure platform quality and scalability.
- Apply and promote Agile, Waterfall, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Deploy and manage automated test suites in cloud-based environments.
- Analyze application performance and behavior during execution using various testing techniques.
- Collaborate with software engineers to identify, debug, and resolve defects efficiently.
- Research new tools and technologies and contribute to architectural and testing strategy discussions.
β Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of the software development and testing life cycle (SDLC/STLC).
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with data structures such as Lists, Sets, Maps, and Collections.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL queries.
β Preferred Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0β1 year of academic or professional experience in Java development or test automation.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as:
- JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber
- Selenium, Cypress
- JMeter or other performance testing tools
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
